Did I ever tell you about seeing him in a parking lot? He was mailing a guitar overseas and my spouse was walking in the same direction and I yelled “Hey!” to him and Frampton turned around and smiled. What are the odds that my HS crush would be walking in a parking lot next to my spouse? I just froze when I saw that face and realized who he was. It was a fun moment.

That is very kind of you. Thanks much. I’m heading for the airport. I will try to respond to further posts via the iPad.

That was wonderful!

But they left out Robert Johnson (Blues)
and the Rolling Stones.

I know they couldn’t put in everything, but IMHO, those two omissions were egregious!

But they DID remember Brother Guido. I am happy about that, because some people think I make this stuff up! LOL!

Sometimes, “Do You Feel Like I do?” was over 20 minutes long when done in concert.

And the Bass part was the SAME all the way through.

No, but he sometimes did keyboard so we might be thinking of different people. LOL. (Frampton has had a LONG Career, and a LOT of sidemen.)

Although this song has an aeolian theme, it is written in the Dorian Mode.

My condolences on the loss of your friend-we all seem to have lost a lot of friends over the past couple of years-and at far too young an age, as well...

What an appropriate WFTD-

There seems to be a whispering-
An aeolian sound, but stronger
Of people pushed to the limit
And remaining silent no longer

With gas and food costs rising,
Little work or money to be had
The mob is still howling “gimme”-
Even the gentlest of us are mad

The trough is scraped clean now-
The unwashed masses never learned-
If they suffer for that foolishness
I’m really no longer concerned...

When we all bust our asses and live from week to week, I’m fresh out of sympathy for leeches with cell phones and fancy sneakers...

Be careful of the wicked weather out there-it is not bad here-53 and sunny-but the wind is fierce.

That wind came up early this morning when I was walking in the woods at the bottom of a hill-I didn’t notice a thing in all that deep cover. When I came out of there and started up the trail toward home, a gust nearly knocked me right back down the rockfall I was walking on.

I see that the anti-gun loons have made Giffords the new James Brady-it is disgusting to use a disabled person to get support for your cause, but it is even more so when the disabled person lets themself be used, for any reason-it may be mean and unchristian, but I no longer have any sympathy for that woman.

I saw something going around the internet listing all the shootings in the past few years were either registered democrats or their parents were. Do you know if that is true?

Another reason to love Ken Cooch, telling Bishop Loverde to get ready to go to jail, bc it may come to that.

James Brady and Ronald Reagan were shot at the same time, but their views on gun control were not the same.
