Good luck with the wind and water.

Medicine, music—you guys are just fountains of information today.
Really interesting. I love this class. Thanks for the post.
3 funerals in 3 weeks for me. enough already.
This is my second in two weeks. It’s like Yogi Berra says: If you don’t go to their funerals, they won’t go to yours.
I just know that d minor is a “sad” chord. I learned it from Spinal Tap.
Thank You for your kind words! :-)
I really love the Seven Modes, and have been playing them on the piano for years and years. I really shocked my Bass Teacher, when I just opened my mouth and SANG them. Since Western Music focuses mostly on the Ionian and Aeolian Modes (Major and minor), very few people can just sing the other ones off the top of their head. Even though Steve was an Excellent Musician and Bassist (Played with Peter Frampton for ten years!), he still found it amazing and amusing that I could sing the weirder modes without thinking about it first. LOL!
Yes, left that other site has enlightened us on the musical definition.
A+++ because I like the way the wind blows. That is just grate.
How timely is this. I’m going to see Frampton perform Friday night.
Stay safe!
Thank you.
One can learn much from Spinal Tap.
A very important lesson from the film:
It is ALWAYS the Bass Player who gets stuck in the giant seed pod.
He is STILL excellent!
Even without the long hair (LOL)!
I think he actually looks better now.
My Friend is in Nashville now, probably doing session work.
But still safer than being a drummer!
Also, “you can’t dust for vomit.”
Did you catch my link yesterday to this captivating, ilustrated view of the history of music?

Although this appears to be in Spanish, I can understand every word!
BTW, didn’t there used to be a piano manufacturer named Aeolian?
I’m sorry for the loss of your friend - cancer is a tough way to go. I hope you have a safe trip and good memories of your times together.
