Seagal sworn in as Doña Ana County Sheriff’s deputy (NM)

Actor Steven Seagal took a break from filming “Force of Execution” in Albuquerque and headed south to Las Cruces on Tuesday.
The special — and unexpected — trip was to be sworn in as a Doña Ana County Sheriff’s deputy.
Undersheriff Eddie Lerma arranged to have Seagal sworn-in as a deputy in Doña Ana County as part of future training on border issues, and to execute police work if necessary.
According to a sheriff’s spokeswoman Seagal is a considered a reserve officer and, according New Mexico law, can only carry out police work while with a commissioned peace officer. Seagal is expected to take part in a border security training in the coming months.

I don’t know Seagal’s views on Illegal Immigration but I lost a lot of respect for him when I found out he is an environmental nut case.
The last movie I saw him in it looked like he had really let himself go physically.

If he is an environmental nut case then AZ needs him on their border too, when he sees all the damage to environment the illegals do on the border maybe he can get someone to listen. We can always hope.
