No, they require anyone buying Sudafed to show ID and they record the purchase. Thanks a lot, hillbilly entrepreneurs.
Jules sees me heading to the couch beats me there and then looks at me like “what? Did you want to sit here??” Such a brat! His fave position is to have his face pressed up against mine when we nap together.
Oliver hops up and tucks in behind my knees if I lie down. If I sit, he curls up and leans on my hip. I’m coughing so much I cannot lie down and I’m tired. Time for the stronger drugs. :(
We have the redneck/hillbilly meth lab owners here, too-they come to off-the-map areas like this, hoping not to be busted as fast.
Duran Duran, huh? I don’t feel so bad now...
Silly human-couches are for dogs-or at least mine thinks so, too. Titus and Yeti boy are on the recliner, crowding in as soon as I sit down there, too.
I know, right? I went straight to Def Leppard after that.
I like-
“Pour some sugar on me
Ooh, in the name of love”...
25 degrees. Jules and I are snuggling on the couch until I have to shower for church. Chans content to be behind my knees or draped over my side but Jules needs to be by my face/head. ESP disconcerting bc he’s a barkybutt and we will be dozing and he will let go a woof directly in my ear at the slightest sound.
29 here and overcast. I’m going to spare anyone being around me this morning, due to the cough and cold and just rest up. They were not thrilled at work about me taking today off too and I don’t care. Both dogs have been following me around, and seem surprised to see me up at 2, and 3, and 4 am.
It would be jarring to have a dog bark right into your ear-with all that fur, Husky girl gets too warm in a very short time, lying next to me on the couch or bed-if we lived in Alaska, that might be different though...
It is 62 foggy and gray here, but no rain due till later.
Since I got home from mass, the cats have confined their play to the kitchen, with Titus jealously guarding his perch on the windowsill from Midget girl, while Yeti boy amuses himself with a twist tie he fished from under the pantry door-and they are ignoring the purchased cat toys scattered around the kitchen. There are footstep and chair scraping noises on the loft, so they won’t go up there right now.
Resting is the best way to get good again-and I suppoose your employer would rather have you passing the cold around? Jeez...
I’m always amazed at how freaked out dogs get at any small change in routine-are yours giving you that what-the-hell look?
