FULL TITLE: 'We're just like everyone else': Transgender girl, 11, writes speech in response to Obama's historic inaugural address because she wishes he'd spoken about her community too
When Obama addressed the nation in his inaugural speech on Monday, he became the first president in history to speak about gay rights during the momentous swearing-in ceremony.
But while many in the LGBT community lauded his support, one 11-year-old transgender girl was left disappointed that he failed to address her community too.
Sadie Croft, who transitioned to a female when she was in kindergarten, has now written an eloquent essay in light of the speech, explaining how transgender people also need the nation's support.
Her mother said that although Sadie was proud of Obama for speaking about gay rights, she had still wanted to pen her own version of the speech, which she entitled: 'Sadie's Dream for the World'.
'Transgender people are not allowed the freedom to do things everyone else does, like go to the doctor, go to school, get a job, and even make friends,' the speech states.

What does that mean, they can't go to the doctor? I'll give the kid a pass on the going to school and making friends thing because of his age. I'm sure he's allowed to do both, but he's just pointed at all the time. But the kid's whole mindframe is one of victim. There's so much wrong with his parents, I don't know where to start.
Sadie, shut up and go play like any other 11 year old.
Color me skeptical.
I doubt that it is legal in any US state to do the hormone treatments on a 5-year old, and I’m pretty nearly certain it’s illegal to do the chop job. Which if true would mean the pictures are of a confused long-haired boy in a dress.
I am also skeptical the letter was written by the boy, at least without considerable help.
If she’s just like everyone else then why does she merit a presidential mention? Why don’t you or I get a name check too?
These mentally ill individuals and their enablers are already living the biggest double standard of all, so it’s no surprise they don’t recognize other obvious double standards.
maybe Sadie-he was referring to not being able to go to a gynecologist?
And surely you know the law prohibits cross dressing homosexuals from attending public school, being hired for jobs, or associating with other people

Which doctor can’t he go to? An OBGYN? That doctor will not give a boy a PAP Smear.
It’s a poor mutilated, hormone-bombarded little boy. These mouthpiece media drones need to stop calling them “she’s.”
It’s an 11-yr-old child saying it,not an adult.
Although clearly an adult is telling him this malarkey.
If you look through the comments I’ve posted on other stories, you’ll see that I’m trying to raise awareness of a problem where medicines containing artificial hormones given during pregnancy are causing devwelopmental abnormalities in the unborn child. One of the things these drugs can do is interfere with the normal process of sexual development, and produce a baby with intersexed genitals or whose brain is either intersexed or completely opposite-sexed to that person’s genetic and biological sex. I’ve confirmed this is a real problem by studying one particular group of affected people, the DES sons. I think the problem goes well beyond just DES though, and I’m pretty sure that these drugs can produce many other abnormalities apart from intersex conditions too - particularly of the brain. The brain is undergoing a very active phase of development throughout the second half of the pregnancy, and that long time period makes it particularly vulnerable to having its normal development disrupted.
Artificial steroid hormones (and steroid hormone mimics such as DES) are probably the most widely used and most profitable single class of medicines there is. Unfortunately, they have a dark side, and for decades they’ve been producing all kinds of horrors among newborn babies, from missing limbs and life-changing defects to major organs, to brain abnormalities and mental illnesses, to those who are part-boy and part-girl. Although several million people at least hve been affected over the years, the pharmaceutical industry have so far done a very good job of keeping it quiet. I think they’ve treated it as a series of separate disasters, without realising that the problem is with artificial steroid hormones and their derivatives as a whole.
In adults, the steroid hormone system controls the day to day running of just about everything the body does, but in the unborn child it does more than that: it plays a major role in controlling development too. When medicines containing artificial hormones are given to a woman during pregnancy, the drug crosses the placenta and disrupts the normal functioning of the steroid hormone system. The result is misdirected development, leading to abnormalities of whatever part of the body or brain happened to be undergoing development at that time. Once parts of the body have been built wrong, they stay like that for the remainder of that person’s life.
I think artificial hormones in pregnancy are the real explanation for the surge in mental illnesses of all kinds in recent years, the skyrocketing rates of male infertility, and of course why we’re suddenly seeing people popping up all over the place announcing that they’re a woman in a man’s body. You people are right to be disturbed about these things, but instead of directing your hostility towards the unfortunate victims, how about helping me do something to stop this horror from continuing any longer?
Thank you
Hugh Easton
Or dead people.
This poor,poor child. How sad.
What a messed-up world we live in.
