The debate is over: According to a White House official, singer Beyonce lip-synced her performance of The Star Spangled Banner at Monday’s presidential inauguration.
“She did not sing live,” an inaugural official told CNN, adding that what audience members and home viewers heard was a pre-recorded version of the U.S. national anthem, which was sung by Beyonce.
Beyonce herself has not commented

I have no clue why this even matters. Many lip sync for baseball and other venues.
Obama’s been faking being a President for over 4 years now so it makes sense he would hire someone to fake sing..a fake singer for a fake Administration, only fitting
I did a quick survey of my fellow workers here and discovered the following:
Was sure she did not lip-sync .00043%
Was sure she did lip-sync .00041%
Couldn’t give a flying ant fart
about who she is or what she did 99.99912%
Of course this has a plus or minus .00010 margin of error.

I use to say we had too many karaoke performers in music today. Now it seems it’s not even that as with karaoke you have to sing live.
The thing with Beyonce is she’s a product. Her music is banal cliched tripe, just another excuse to sell her image. Nothing wrong with that as she’s making money hand over fist (which evidently she wants to give most of to the government) but she should cut down on the obvious fake stuff as she is going to mess up that huge income.
For example winning “song of the year” at the Grammys for “All the single ladies”..Come on, what are they kidding me? That freakin’ song sounds like a commercial for some cheap jewlery store. “All you single ladies, put a ring on it! Come to Maurys jewlery emporium! 50% off!” Gee yeah the fix wasn’t in on that award.
Or doing ads for hair color and shampoo when she wears wigs most of the time. And what’s this stuff with making her look white in ads? What is that, reverse racism? Reverse blackface?
