Orr headed back to Albertson's to make good on her payment. But she was told that the store had already placed her in collections. It was out of the grocer's hands.

This is a crock. I've run a business before including bad checks and working with these agencies. All it takes is a phone call to the agency to return the check. They might charge the store a nominal fee because they didn't get to collect the fee from the customer, but normally they will waive it as a courtesy if they value your business.

The businesses in the town where I worked would often post their NSF checks right at the customer service window. Word got around town fast and the culprits were usually there to redeem them for cash within 24 hours.

This ingrate woman is unappreciative of the goodies sprinkled about by the man she voted for.
