Carboping
nuts, fruits, seeds, cooked root crops, ...... of course paleolithic folks ate carbohydrates and enjoyed them immensely. The popular caveman diet simply reduces carb intake ~
Although not widely reported, they also had a craving for potato chips......
It just isn’t meat and potatoes without the potatoes...
"I was just a fad, really."
Crabs is good.
It was as if a million CrossFitters cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced...
I still love the Cavemen. “I’ll have the roast duck with the mango salsa.” LOL!

Pretty sure that anything that made a turd was on the diet ... Moochelle was probably big into Cockroaches back then... Arugula was just bait.
TT
Just an opinion
I believe in getting plenty of carbs......
12 oz at a time...............
Kinda like duh....How much are these guys getting paid??
Healthy...Right!!....Life expectancy was 33.
Where exactly is the carb?
They were healthy, but hygeine was non-existent and hunting accidents could be fatal.
The infant mortality rate must have been atrocious due to infections. Combine that with death at childbirth (newborn’s craniums were getting larger making birth more difficult) and hunting accidents, no wonder people did not live long statistically.
Healthy...Right!!....Life expectancy was 33.
Actually that was the AVERAGE life expectancy. Infant
mortality was really a bitch!
Once he makes it into late teens he has a pretty good chance of making it to 60 or 70 plus. Not at all different from our today’s expectancy except for the meds and stuff to make into the 80’s and 90’s.
Indians, for example, abandon their aged members when they cannot keep up with their nomadic movement. It is cruel but necessary.
Kind of a silly article.
Peleolithic man, like most humans thru history, ate whatever they could get hold of.
Carbs would be an infrequent item on the menu and most certainly would be seasonal.
Didn’t the caveman die around the age of 30 ?
Gorp loves GORP sort of thang .....
The basic Neanderthal diet included other Neanderthals...
