Most comedians would kill to create a character which impacted not just his or her own career but the national conversation.
Others, like Tina Fey, would rather not be reminded of their creation - assuming said creation is former Gov. Sarah Palin.

I read the article and I don’t know what the big deal is. Lots of actors don’t like to be addressed as their characters in real life.
It will haunt you forever.
Odds are equally as good, Ms. Fey in the future will need to decide whether she still wants to be the alternate Ms. Palin.

Definitely. After the ‘08 election during exit polling the majority of people said they believed Sarah said “I can see Russia from my porch.” Truth: Tina Fey said it in an SNL skit. (Sarah said you can see Russia from Alaska — which you can, if you’re on one of the Diomede islands.)
Of course, the dishonest Left picked it up, ran with it, and used it to make Sarah look stupid. Tina is 100% responsibile for this aspect of the election.
Also, Tina wishes she were as beautiful as Sarah. Even with Hollywood’s makeup experts at her disposal, she never looked as good as Sarah.
Let’s see on one side we have a dedicated accomplished person with a very successful record in the public arena; on the other side we have a person trying to become successful by making believe they are someone else!
