While everyone has the right to believe the Bible is the ‘true word of God’, I don’t believe the government should have done this. I can see how it garnered support, back in 1982. But that was then, and this is now.

If we allow Government to ‘declare’ the Bible as the ‘true word of God’, then our government can just as easily declare some ‘other’ religious text as the ‘true word of God’.

Think about that.

I do. I'd like to see it every year. As long as we acknowledge a power higher than government, our republic will likely survive. As it is, it won't.

Biblical teachings inspired concepts of civil government that are contained in our Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States;

Factually correct. It it the sort of history that should be taught every year in all K-12 schools.
