BRADENTON (AP) - He's a prankster. He kisses strangers. He crawls under moving vehicles. He pretends to sleep on busy highways.
But 18-year-old Charles Ross may have taken his stunts too far Sunday. He ended up in jail and charged with misdemeanor battery. Ross was arrested at the Royal Palm movie theater in Bradenton where he was giving people he didn't know 'wedgies' and recording it.
Ross bonded out of jail Monday.
"It's supposed to be a joke. Some people can find the humor and laugh at it. Others can't," said Ross, who says he does understand why some people get offended by his antics.
Ross' YouTube channel has five million views and counting. He has partnered with YouTube and expects to start getting paid through advertisers.

If he gets assaulted in jail, maybe someone can record it for youtube and we’ll just all have a good-natured laugh about it.
I mean, he’s welcome to pull that stunt, but he shouldn’t be surprised if somebody whips his ass.
I hear the judge sentenced him to 20 nuggies and a purple nurple.
OK, I lost it at that comment. LOL
i think about 1000 people ought to follow him around all day giving him wedgies and recording it. perhaps he’ll see why other don’t appreciate his humor then.
One can give a reluctant approval to this man. One can see him lurking in a shadow, emiting a loud EEE-YAH as he leaps onto the unsuspecting victim wedging the latter. then he disappears into the night and fog. Thus, a legend would grow of the mad wedger.
It's like a scene out of Idiocracy.
How can we get him a ticket for the Obama press conference tomorrow?
nurple?
the best punishment is a punch in the face
Hey, the laugh’s on him — *I’m not wearin’ any underwear!!!*
Oh, sorry, I didn’t mean to type that out loud.
Thanks Berlin_Freeper.
Well at least he honored the warning he was in a Noogie-free zone.
