The fears of major health organizations have come true: Gonorrhea that is immune to the last remaining effective oral antibiotic has been detected in at least nine North American patients, meaning the era of "incurable" gonorrhea could be close.

Hehehe....I see what you did there, lol =).
Absolutely concur!
I knew a gay guy who had encounters with married “straight” men. He said they were still straight and just needed something they weren’t getting at home.
NO
If you have sexual relations with another dude you are a homo. It’s that simple.
If you are sexually turned on by another dude then you are a homo. It’s that simple.
And a pervert to boot!
Amen brother!! ANY man whom has sexual relations or is turned on by other men is a FAG. Period end of story.
The Bible backs us up on that as well.
About 15% of Caucasian Americans have genetic immunity to bubonic plague, HIV, and possibly influenza, because they are descended from people who had a European mutation against the black plague.
You might be one of these people, or you might just be lucky, or you might have an immune system that has been either strong enough to fend off infection, or has such a weak response that you do not show symptoms, since it is not the disease itself that shows symptoms, but the reaction to it.
In any event, good for you. Except for the part about “disease free” people also tending to be prone to acute and deadly conditions, like sudden cardiac and stroke death, likely because they were not detected in routine examinations.
Amazing how that works, isn't it?
Neal Boortz used to have "Three Rules to Guarantee Success in Life": 1) Graduate from H.S. 2) Don't have kids before you get married. and 3) Don't do (illegal) drugs. Follow those three simple rules, he used to say, and you're pretty much guaranteed to be - if not WILDLY rich, famous and successful - then at least a moderately happy and productive member of society.
Amazing though, how many in America can't correctly handle even those three simple tasks.
If you and I stuck in rule #4..."Keep it in your pants" ....that'd make his guarantee of success pretty much ironclad. Also, it would ensure that far fewer people would follow the rules. :-)
I most certainly can fit into either or both of those categories. I am not a doctor person. I only go when I am very sick.
Haven't been to a doctor is several years, no need to. However, we have a blood pressure machine @ work and my blood pressure, as well as my heartbeat were high.
I knew the problem was me so I put myself on a restrictive hbp and hormone (peri-menopause) diet. I have been able to lower both. I don't want to be on medication; however, this diet seems to be working.
I used to get very sick, once a year, in the fall, but that has not happened for several years.
Have no idea why. It used to be like clock work, then suddenly stopped. So many people in my office have come down with something or another, in which I haven't got from them.
Perhaps it's my celibacy. Hmmmm, never thought about that until now.
“Keep it in your pants” should be rule #1. Never mind the psychical benefits to keeping such a rule, but the emotional toll as well.
I see my single gf’s go through SO much unnecessary crap. I have 1 single gf, who showed me this “guy she was dating” and I told her, just from the pics on his FB that he is a fag.
She said he wasn’t I told her that boy goes both ways; therefore, he’s a fag.
One night, while she was out with her brother, this “giy” started talking to her brother, ignoring her, and asked for his number so they could “be friends” and hang out. I asked her if her brother was homo and she said no. That’s when I reiterated the guy she WAS dating was a fag(they stopped dating after he had his way, then said some awful things to her).
For some reason, she still chooses to be “friends” with him. However, she does “stalk” the bars he hangs out in.
I’m trying to set her right, she is a nice girl, but stupid. When I told her he was a fag, she denied denied denied!
Thanks, good post.
Too bad we didn’t pay attention to Yuri and others who warned us.
Mrs WBill has much the same problem with her friends. I just sit back with my popcorn.
The one thing that I can't make my wife understand is that every one of her single friends would KILL to be in the position that she's in....comfortable lifestyle, great kids, nice house, stay-at-home Mom, (ahem) doting husband. She takes a lot of what they say at face value..."I value my independence." "I don't want kids." "I could never stay home...why don't you go to work?"
Crabs in a pot, all of them. Fortunately, my lovely wife recognizes a good gig when she has it, and is fully capable of telling the more persistent of them to get stuffed. :-)
She teaches part-time, to make a little spending money. I'd have liked to have been a fly on the wall when her former (female, liberal, 50+, childless, never married, rabidly feminist) boss suggested that she "Give up this stupid staying at home idea, ditch the kids, and come work full time for me!!". My lovely wife is not prone to anger, but one of the other teachers described the scene as, quote, "Volcanic". LOL!!

I highly recommend checking out the excellent documentaries that have been done about this. It started when a gay man in the US, who engaged in a lot of high risk sex with HIV infected men, showed no sign of HIV after years of exposure.
Eventually it led researchers back to the small, central England town of Eyam, and a genetic mutation some of the people had during the black death. If one of their parents had the mutation, they would get sick, but recover. But if both their parents had the mutation, they would not get sick at all.
It turned out that the mutation made their cells “slick”, so that viruses could not latch on to them. If they couldn’t establish a connection, they could not enter the cell. And it applied equally well to HIV.
In describing influenza, for example, H1N1, the “H” factor, which stands for Hemagglutinin, is simply how the virus attaches to and enters the cell. The “N” factor (Neuraminidase) is how after reproducing, the millions of new viruses punch their way out of the cell back into the bloodstream, before the dead cell is destroyed by the body.
There are about 17 known types of the “H” factor, but only three of them (H1,H2, and H3) currently attack human cells. H5 would be a new one, making H5N1 extra deadly. Only two kinds of “N” factor are specific to human disease, N1 and N2.
In addition to genetic mutation, there are some chemicals that can also make cells “slicker”, but it is not known if these are universal to viruses. For example, a lot of cranberry juice has long been consumed against bladder infections. Apparently it can make cells slick against some viruses and bacteria that cause both bladder infections and diarrhea.
Some other fruit juices may have a similar effect. However, this is still relatively new information, so it is not yet known whether it would affect other viruses and bacteria.
God Bless your wife! I am 42, never married, no kids (by choice...I knew I could never “cut that mustard”).
His path for me is unknown, to me. I may not know what it is, while living, but it is instinctual.
I’m still trying to find that dark crooked unlit path towards Him and what He has in store for me. I may have already fulfilled my “meaning” and don’t know it....therefore, I will keep at it.
Nothing more then I hate is a feminazi. I know I’m not supposed to hate, but these people leave me no choice!
They throw their sin in my face and TELL me to accept it. Then they pass laws to abide by it. I WILL NOT ABIDE NOR ACCEPT SIN AS NORMAL.
Normal has become the new “weird”. Guess I’m a weirdo.
thanks for all the information!
(I remember hearing that the reason cranberry juice prevented bladder infections is that the Vitamin C created a hostile environment for the bacteria so they couldn’t establish themselves and grow. In theory blueberries have the same effect. Interestingly I never heard the claim for orange juice which is full of vitamin C.)
Vitamins and minerals are a completely different paradigm, but an important one.
To start off, the most important immune system vitamin is actually not a vitamin, but a hormone, vitamin D. It has several direct actions against pathogens, such as a slightly acidic breakdown product that erodes the viral coat in the bloodstream. But it also opens up several immune system pathways which makes the response to pathogens more effective, *and* it is also an “ACE inhibitor”, which moderates the immune system to keep it from overreacting. Amazing stuff.
Importantly, a small number of people are sensitive to as little as 3,000 IU supplements, and another small number of people cannot absorb supplements to increase their serum Vitamin D levels. Typically, people can consume as much as 15,000 IU for two to three weeks before even the first indication of too much (which is fixing too much calcium.)
Some are now recommending 2-3 days of 15,000 IU at the first indication of colds and flu, reduced to 5,000 IU for the rest of the duration.
A 15 minute whole body sunlight exposure can provide a whopping 30,000 IU, produced in the skin, but it can take 2-3 days to get into the blood to do its work, whereas supplements are much faster.
Ironically, and with no clear explanation, people who live in Arizona have unusually *low* serum vitamin D levels. So living in a normally sunny climate may not be enough.
Next up is Vitamin C, which was puzzling for a long time because it should help more than it does, but it has some problems, for which work-arounds have been developed.
To start with, typically Vitamin C is acidic, and a large dose may cause diarrhea. The work around to this was a version of Vitamin C that was buffered. But the next problem is that Vitamin C is a water soluble vitamin, which means absorbed quickly and excreted quickly, likely too quickly to do as much good as it should in the body.
So the work around for this was to create a fat soluble Vitamin C, that would stay in the body much longer, and get into the body fat where it can do its work. Here is a video on how to make homemade fat soluble Vitamin C:

Next up are the anti-pathogenic minerals: usually Calcium, Magnesium, Zinc, Silver, Potassium, Sodium, and Selenium.
These either directly kill pathogens, or inhibit their reproduction. They do take some finesse, however.
For example, Selenium under many circumstances can be very deadly. But at the same time, a small amount can both protect the body from some potentially serious side effects from Vitamin E. It can also provide an as yet unexplained but potent protection to the lungs, from pathogens, toxins, and even cancer.
Sodium, in the form of common table salt, sodium chloride, is superb as a treatment for most oral problems and mucous membranes, as a warm, salty gargle. Sodium bicarbonate, baking soda (pH 9), is deadly to many oral bacteria within seconds, so should be used on alternate days instead of toothpaste.
Silver and Zinc, when uptaken by the mucous membranes, strongly inhibits pathogenic reproduction, but ordinary supplements are not readily absorbed by the mucous membranes. In the case of Zinc, Cold-Eeze lozenges and Zicam oral spray have patented versions of forms of zinc that are readily absorbed, so have the valued FDA authority to say “proven to reduce severity and duration of the common cold.”
Calcium, Magnesium, and Potassium all inhibit pathogens by interfering with their osmotic processes, either sucking moisture out of them or forcing too much into them.
Yep
Very interesting and informative posts. Thank you.
CCR5-delta32?
I wonder why this news was moved to chat?
Oooo, I hope I’m in that 15%!
