I had no idea that there was an different ending for this movie! And as there are many FReepers who are fans of this movie I though you would enjoy it as much as I did!

Hub McCann: "Sometimes the things that may or may not be true are the things a man needs to believe in the most. That people are basically good; that honor, courage, and virtue mean everything; that power and money, money and power mean nothing; that good always triumphs over evil; and I want you to remember this, that love... true love never dies. You remember that, boy. You remember that. Doesn't matter if it's true or not. You see, a man should believe in those things, because those are the things worth believing in."

No matter how you shake it...this is a four-star movie. I kinda wish they’d make it into a TV series.
To: pepsionice
Oh please no! They’d mess it up, make it politically correct...it just boggles the mind to think what they might do to it. Loved the movie BTW.

Our disc has alternate endings, none of which are this one.
It also has some awesome deleted scenes.
Thanks for posting it.

Not to worry, no pc nonsense in this ending, just an epilogue.

Nice. That's still one of my favorites.
On the recommendation of a friend, I took my then 12-year-old-son and his buddies to see it. They - we - loved it. It's in my DVD collection now.

That is a good ending, I don’t remember seeing in the extras. I think someone put together some raw clips because some of the music was lifted from other movies. Music from the credits of “The Black Stallion” is in there.

I don’t know I like the French Foreign Legion showing up and the 5 punks that Hub beat some sense into all those years before showing up as striaght-up men now.
