The Jacksonville Jaguars fired coach Mike Mularkey Thursday after just one season, the worst in franchise history.
New general manager David Caldwell made the announcement, giving him a clean slate heading into 2013. Caldwell said he made the move just 48 hours after he was hired because he wants to immediately explore every avenue possible to turn the Jaguars around.

Old news now, news would be whom are they hiring!
In Italian there is an indium: Scopa Nuova, Scopa Bene....it means a new broom sweeps clean. GM hired yesterday signaled there would be a house cleaning.

Thank you Falcons for pushing him out as Offensive Coordinator at the end of last season...both Mike Nolan (DC) and Dirk Koetter (OC) have had positive influences on the Falcons this year in their first season with the team.

Mularkey was an awful hire. Jags need to find a real coach
Of course, this may mean Tim Tebow becomes a Jag pretty soon. He may not be Tom Brady, but hr will put cheeks in the seats

Most firings of head coaches amounts to rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. True - but I do think the Bears' firing Lovie Smith was a good move.
