I was very sickly as a kid. Mom gave me coke syrup whenever i was nauseas from all the meds i used to take. It really worked. I still drink coke to settle my stomach sometimes.

on a side note...

I still like to drink coke...I recently discovered Mexican Coke (imported from Mexico). It is coke made with real sugar instead of corn syrup. I love it...reminds me of how it used to taste when i would drink in back in the 60’s and 70’s.
We can buy it here (FL) by the case at Home Depot, of all places!

You might try some Ginger tea. Very good for the stomach. Just get some fresh Ginger root, and slice up some quarter sized pieces to cover the bottom of your mug. Add boiling water, cover and steep for 5 to 10 minutes, depending on what strength you like. Do a search on “Ginger, Health Benefits.”

UGGG!!!

I used to cover the off-road races in Baja. I tried their soda. Yes it’s real sugar but they about triple the sugar!

To me at least it’s nothing like the coke I remember.

I buy Mexican Coke at my local grocery store here in NH. It comes in the nice curved glass bottle. Costs $1/bottle.
I use it when I mix some rum with it(for medicinal puposes only).
