A secret bunker hidden deep within the deserts of New Mexico is reported to be the "alien space cathedral" of the Church of Scientology, according to the author of a new book on Scientology.
The site is marked by a large symbol etched onto the desert floor: two diamonds surrounded by a pair of overlapping circles, according to the British newspaper The Sun. A private airstrip, built to serve the controversial church's leaders, is within walking distance of the symbol.
The entire complex is located near Mesa Huerfanita, N.M., roughly two-hour's drive from Santa Fe, N.M., and three hours north of Roswell, N.M., site of numerous purported UFO sightings, according to The Sun.
The Sun report, penned by BBC journalist (and author) and Scientology debunker John Sweeney, claims the church designed the underground site to withstand a nuclear holocaust. Hidden within the complex's vaults are titanium caskets that hold gold disks inscribed with the original texts of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard, according to the Daily Mail.

Scientology is the only group scoring lower on IQ tests than the Obamadork collection of felon/cretins.
I wonder if it houses Joseph Smith’s golden tablets.

doubt it...
Scientology makes Mormons look downright mainstream...
Scientology is a very dangerous cult...
I saw that movie about the (thinly disguised )L Ron Hubbard.
What struck me was how boring the guy was.
They are equally dangerous.
The airport isn’t very secret...

..and a 5500 ft runway at an altitude of 6300 ft. isn’t that long on a hot summer NM day.

Greta VanScreechsteren proves your point every time she opens that gash of a mouth.
I live in NM and I looked at that site on Google Earth. Some very interesting stuff - like a large church-like facility literally out in the middle of nowhere. Those weird diamonds with large circles are near the strange church-like facility. Does not look like any easy way to get there besides by plane. The road from to the big circles is a road that starts right at the north end of the runway.
Are these Scientologists Amish or something? I hope not, because it would surely give the Amish a really bad name—a really, really bad name.
Thanks nickcarraway.
I just pre-ordered the ebook from Amazon. I normally don’t like to spend a lot on ebooks when there are so many titles for free or .99 cents. But this one makes me think I need to know a lot more than I do about Scientology.
The google maps link shows an extremely nice house to the north of the runways on the way to the diamonds. It even has a beautiful atrium in the middle, very swank. There is a huge above ground tank a little north of the house with a turn around area for a very long truck. Water, propane??
