A man in a bear proof capsule is “terrified” for what reason?

It’s only polar bear proof, until it fails.
Then you’re just a man in a tin can.

It’s not bear proof, it’s bear resistant...

Don’t know how the video ends. I hear his friends just call him “Scat” for some reason now, however.

Did you see how that bear went straight for the door latch?
Smart bear.

I’d like to know how long the bear tried to get in—minutes, hours, days? It would be a scary walk back to base or wherever he had to go when he left the cage. I dont see any structures or vehicles nearby.

Pardon me. Do you have any Grey Poupon? If so, please pour it over your head.

How did he know he was hungry? Anyone else get the impression the subtext to the ginned up title was “Polar Bears are Hungry Because Man Has Ruined Their Habitat”?

The bear returned later with a can opener.

I have it from a great source the polar bear was put and placed on one of Gores styrofoam icebergs pretending to be the real thing.

There is a ship in the back ground in one of the frames. I would say he has back up not to far away. Looks like the capsule is tow able.
Would be kind of spooking having a bear bonce you around hoping that plastic didn't break.

Love Far Side. It and Calvin were my favorites and both decided to quit.

Guy probably came through it okay, but had to change his shorts afterward.
