Russian PM not joking – extraterrestrials live among us according to MIB documentary

Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev’s off-air comments that Russian Presidents are given a secret file about extraterrestrials living among us created much media interest. Most news reports claimed that Medvedev was simply joking. His apparent reference to the Men In Black movie as a source of information on a super secret agency that monitors extraterrestrials on Earth was commonly cited as key evidence that he was in fact joking. The reasoning is that no political leader would refer reporters to a comedy to clarify national policy. It has now emerged that Medvedev was not referring to the Men in Black comedy after all, but to a recent Russian television documentary titled “Men in Black” that reveals many details about an extensive cover up of extraterrestrial life visiting Earth.

However, a more accurate translation of what Medvedev actually said about the Men in Black phenomenon was: “You can receive more detailed information having watched the documentary film of the same name.” So Medvedev was referring to a Russian “documentary film” titled Men in Black, not the Hollywood blockbuster by the same name...

Russian Men In Black (MIB) documentary, a number of prominent UFO cases in Russia and the USA are discussed. The Roswell UFO crash is covered, along with a number of extraterrestrial abduction cases, and UFOs disabling nuclear weapons facilities. The documentary examines testimony that extraterrestrial bases have been established on Earth, and that some are in restricted US military areas with the full knowledge of the Pentagon. The documentary even goes on to seriously discuss President Eisenhower’s alleged meeting with extraterrestrials, where agreements were reached with some of the visitors giving them permission to take some of the Earth’s resources in exchange for advanced technology...

It was one of those, “assembly is obvious upon inspection of the job” thingies.

I just did them. Cracks and small holes in the walls are pretty easy. You just fill them with Spackle, texture it like the rest of the wall, and paint.

But the staircase bannister was mounted on the wall on one side, top, middle, and bottom. The middle bold came undone because the builder had mounted it in drywall, and I had to cut out the drywall, install a 2x4”, drill a pilot hole, repair the wall, and bolt on the bannister. Fun stuff!

I painted the entire house myself, but I hired someone to paint the trim. I could have done it, but it was fiddly and much more time consuming than just rolling paint on the walls. There were a lot of other things as well, and I can honestly say that the house was in much better shape when we left than when we bought it, and we did sell it for quite a bit more than we paid for it.

Also, I packed the entire house all by myself because Hubby had already moved to his new job in northern California. But that was the easy part. My late father was a furniture packer, and he taught me to safely pack anything. It’s mostly just common sense.

I was proud of my box of wind chimes. You could throw it across the room, and not a single peep out of it, or a single dented chime.

Then when we moved here, I did it all over again. But I had maintained our house there, so it wasn’t so bad that time.

Replacing the bannister drywall is what has me in awe. Sawing things w/o amputating body parts is also amazing. Speaking of that, trimming the trees and shrubs is in order. That’ll be the plan for tomorrow or whenever I finish “Aftermath” (Peter Anderson)

And now, off to finish chores! SYL

One of the ladies in my prayer group went three weeks without heat

She's probably the self-defrosting prayer group model. They last a long time, too.

"LOL! Look out! In coming!"

It wasn't a sewage leak, it was a ventilation leak that released septic gases into the house. When the heater came on, bingo! Methane poisoning throughout. It was nauseating.

The vent has been beaten into submission, and the leak is no more.

The repairmen just have to finish making the demolished room right again.

Does it seem to you that they’re not making toilet floats like they used to. Those darned things malfunction a month after you install them. Of couse, it could be said that they might not have been installed correctly, but everything else Mr. Sg does works, so why not a simple mechanism? Pfftt.

A lot of the world doesn’t have showers or flush toilets at all.

As a military wife and mother for 30+ years, I learned how to do a lot of things that were “guy jobs” because I had no guy to do them, and didn’t really want to pay someone. That was a double-edged sword where I lived...a woman alone, no man to dicker, being told “fees were negotiable.”

So I learned to be self-sufficient. I could pack a three bedroom house in two days and unpack it in one, and it would look, by the end of that day, as if we had always lived there. Some things you never “unlearn.”

Your hubby is very fortunate to have someone as resourceful as you!

"Isn’t a week a little long for a beer run?>

Well, you have to consider factors such as evaporation, too.

I think I have some reading to do; back in a few.

There, in that benighted place, I even managed to watch the Ravens game.

It’s like traveling to another Habitat. Doesn’t take long to get there, but the time thingy is way off! Had to contend with snowy drives and icy roads. How uncivilized!

But, I do have beer, so everything’s fine now.

Before we had those things, we had the spring-house, and the outhouse. They still work, even after the fan doesn't.

The clocks are weirding me out. Hoping that the Creator will understand if our clock is different from His/Her clock.
