I have lots of issues with the Libertarian party but they pale in comparison to the problems I now have with the GOP.

I'm starting to feel the same way.

We could do a lot worse if Libertarians replaced the GOP at the federal level - most of where I disagree with them could be sorted out among the states, like it's supposed to be.

Which is the position of the vast majority of libertarians. I don't agree with everything in the official LP platform either, but if they had power, they'd be a hell of a lot closer to voting as I would than any republican or democrat.
