BOHICA
We are, like the "German Democratic Republic" was.
Indeed. A battered b!tch does not know the neighbor’s cat is fed better.
Any post on FR can be considered “a psy ops of sorts, perhaps.”
Which is which....just sayin'...
Curly sez- "That's what you have to find out"
Probably a cozy weekend together at the Honolulu Hilton, complete with unlimited rounds of golf and all the booze Boehner can drink.
I guess it is like the stock market waiting for a Fed announcement. It goes jittery and only feeds the stock options insurance.
Hey, who says we cannot make money too from crisis to “crisis”...

"I'll *hiccup* drink to *hiccup* that."
I’m convinced that nobody in Washington has the courage to do what is necessary to save this country from the policies that Washington has instituted in the last century.
The bottom line is that there is no political solution. Congress will continue to kick the can down the road until both the can and the kicker fall off the cliff. Nobody will dare to touch social security, medicare, endless unemployment benefits, food stamps for everyone, housing subisidies, farm subsidies, corporate welfare or any other entitlement. So the government will continue to grow and grow and grow until it swallows everything and everybody.
Ultimately the government will just have to print more and more money to keep the entitlements running and ultimately we will run out of people willing to buy our bonds. When that happens, everyone’s 401k’s proceeds will be transferred into US Bonds which will ultimately become was worthless as the German Deutchmarks were in the 1920’s.
So Congress will steal everyone’s 401k to continue to fund this monster until ultimately a trillon dollars worth of bonds will buy you a cup of coffee at Starbucks and then there will be blood.
I don’t see a solution to this other than the complete and total collapse of our governmental system. It is coming. It may be a couple of decades away, but the train is going downhill and it has no brakes.
He was unopposed.
Simple -- VOTE in the Primaries and anything they do will be inconsequential. It starts with Voting.
So much for the “insider” dope posted on FR...
LOL
I havn’t seen a breakdown yet.
Vendome, lol, nicely said.. just remember the wilderness the GOP went through before getting Reagan and the wilderness the Dems went through from Carter to Clinton. All those bemoaning the death of the GOP are in reality only one charismatic candidate away from being its most ardent supporters yet again.
To everyone else, 3rd party.. sure, that would be nice but I have heard conservatives bitching about a third party for over 30 years now...wheres the beef? If conservatives cant even take control of what is supposed to be their own party, what makes anyone think that just up and starting a new one would fare any better..might ease the individual conscious at most, however there will be no real political consequences except for losses to DNC, who are smart enough to big tent.
I don’t think constituents outta bend over and take it from the GOPe, but it is more realistic to take over a party and come to power than start a new one which would, lets be honest here, most likely split the votes on the right and ensure the DNC power for years to come.. I’m really sorry this is a two party system, but thats the nature of the beast.
Now that is one discouraging post for a conservative to read!
The GOP refuses to address Obama/MSM false narratives and are playing a role in it
This is a system where DOJ keeps job when in contempt of congress...money is printed by FED to bail out FED interests(owners). senators that took oath to up hold constitution are vocal about destroying it.
Iceland took on the system, refused the created debt. We cannot fix anything if Obama is allowed to operate without a budget.
