Are You Going To Remain A Republican in light of today's gutless actions by both the Senate and House? This was the last straw for me; I'm done! I will be switching my party affiliation tomorrow.

Last time I checked, a majority of Republicans voted against it. It was a minority of R’s that crossed over with the Dems to put it over the top.

I stopped voting GOP when they pushed Mitt n us. I was a bit touch and go before that, ut that was the last straw. I saw this type of thing coming after that. They will keep doing it. They purged Conservatives. And, sadly, we hold no sway over them because we ALWAYS fall in line.

Like many here, I chose to deal with reality and voted for Romney. Unlike you, I saw him as a far better choice than the Marxist we had in office.
As far as owning this; this falls on the shoulders of knuckle heads like you who chose not to vote in the presidential election, or voted 3rd party. It’s because of folks like you, that we’re where we are now!

BUT...don’t do it without alerting your brain-dead congresscritters as to WHY you are doing it. THEY need to realize the consequences of THEIR actions as it pertains to those of us they erroneously say they are “representing”.
Personally, I say we document addresses of those who pretend to represent us, those whose salaries we pay, so we can easily contact them with our complaints in black and white.
It’s a compromise. no need to get frustrated and make it look like a victory for obama.

I agree! I think this is key. They need to understand that their idiotic actions have consequences.
I will wait and see how the Debt Ceiling increase fight pans out. If the GOP manages to cave on that one too, I will vote with my pocketbook—no more contributions to any GOP orgs or candidates. Money talks!!

This was huge win for Obama and the Dems.
My husband and I had the honor of visiting the Ronald Reagan Library over Christmas. There will NEVER be his like again. The GOP began to die the day he did. Our visit was sad when it should have been joyous.
