With a sad and heavy heart, I share with you all,
that Oldteen's husband went into
The Everlasting Arms of Jesus,
this afternoon.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather,
and also a Marine who loved this country so very much.
Please pray for Teenie, their family,
and the soul of this dear, special man.
SEMPER FI, SIR! May your soul rest eternally in Peace.

Day is done,
gone the sun, From the lake, from the hill,
From the sky.
All is well, safely rest,
God is nigh.
Thanks and praise, For our days,
Neath the sun, Neath the stars,
Neath the sky,
As we go, This we know,
God is nigh.
Fades the light; And afar
Goeth day, And the stars
Shineth bright,
Fare thee well; Day has gone,
Night is on.
Go to sleep, peaceful sleep,
May the soldier or sailor,
God keep.
On the land or the deep,
Safe in sleep.
Love, good night, Must thou go,
When the day, And the night
Need thee so?
All is well. Speedeth all
To their rest

PRAYERS ASCENDING ON HIGH!
Rest In Everlasting Peace, Marine, And Semper Fi!
Prayers of condolence for Oldteen, and for the Lord to take her under His Healing Wings!
The Twenty-Third Psalm Mahalia Jackson (Click)
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
Psalm 23 -KJV

REST IN PEACE, FALLEN BROTHER!
Sgt. Michael E. Council, USMC - Vietnam Veteran Devoted Husband of our own Oldteen Guarding the Gates as of 5Jan2013
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:7 (KJV)
Eternal Father, Strong to Save
Rest in Peace, fallen brother, rest in peace! We who remain hold you in high honor. Rest, fallen brother, in this sacred precinct; We who remain keep this place sacred. Rest, fallen brother, among these, your comrades; We who remain keep the watch. Rest, fallen brother, amid these who heeded the Nations call; We who remain press the fight forward in your name. Rest, fallen brother, lay down thy burden; We who remain have taken up the torch. Rest in Peace, fallen brother, rest in eternal peace!

My dearest teenie:
My heart is heavy and sad just hearing of your terrible loss. I thought I’d check the computer before going to bed tonight and learned of Michael’s passing. I will be in prayer for you and your family tonight and only wish I could give you a warm hug of love and understanding. I know Michael is in God’s loving arms, never to suffer again. I love you and you’ll be in my thoughts and prayers greatly. I will be talking to you later.
May God stay by your side, my friend.
In loving friendship,
Jane

~Welcome To Epiphany Sunday At Amy's Place~
Holding Teenie in our hearts and prayers
After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi
from the east came to Jerusalem and asked, "Where is the one who has been born
king of the Jews? We saw his star in the east and have come to worship him." .
After they had heard the king, they went on their way, and the star they had seen
when it rose went ahead of them until it stopped over the place where the child was.
When they saw the star, they were overjoyed. On coming to the house, they
saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him.
Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold,
frankincense and myrrh. And having been warned in a dream not to go back to
Herod, they returned to their country by another route.- Matthew 2:1,2,9-12

What Is That To You?
January 6, 2013
When you attend a childrens choir concert, youre not surprised when the children look everywhere but at the director. They wiggle, squirm, and poke each other. They stand on tiptoes to search for parents in the audience. They raise their hands to wave when they see them. Oh, yes, and they occasionally sing. We smile at their antics. The behavior is cute in children. Its not so cute when adult choir members dont watch the conductor. Good music depends on singers who pay attention to the director so they can stay together as they sing.
Christians sometimes are like singers in a childrens choir. Instead of looking at Jesus, the great Conductor of the symphony of life, we are busy squirming or looking at each other or watching the audience.
Jesus admonished Peter for such behavior. After He told him what would be required of him, Peter pointed to John and asked, What about him? Jesus answered with a question: What is that to you? You follow Me (John 21:22).
Sometimes we are distracted by what others are doing. We think Gods plan for their life is better than His plan for ours. But Gods plan for each of us is the same: Follow Jesus. When we watch Him intently, well not be distracted by Gods plan for anyone else.
My times are in my Fathers hand;
How could I wish or ask for more?
For He who has my pathway planned,
Will guide me till my journeys oer. Fraser
Every child of God has a special place in His plan.
