At least keep them under ten cars. Anything more than that is an assault train.
What the hell ever happened to just throwing someone under the bus?
Soon, it will be less important to be the first one in line....
The poor guy.
When I used subways regularly I always stayed back against the wall until the train pulled in.
.
Have we all forgotten the fact that we can implement safety locks on these trains?
Not again!
NYC is still the Concrete Jungle.
A relative of mine works for the NY Metro. At subway stations or train platforms he makes a habit of not standing too close and then he faces away from the incoming train to make sure no cretin from hell tries such a deed.
NYC subway users will now be required to press themselves against the subway station walls as the train approaches. Only after the train stops and the doors open can they rush to board ... this is a sick demented society. Really.
It sounds like she was armed. I thought everyone in NYC was unarmed?
Has anyone from Hollywood Tweeted?
Beyonce? Gwyneth Paltrow? Alec Baldwin?
Shall I be the first to demand background checks and fingerprinting of all those purchasing subway tokens?
What is going in in NYC. I have never heard of incidents like this in other major cities with subway systems.
There is a reason public transportation never became popular in America. Thugs. America has a bumper crop and it is wise to isolate and avoid them or you will be sacrificed at the alter of socialism.
Don’t live in the city ghetto. Don’t travel with the ghetto on the bus or train. Make city politicans accept and accomodate private, safe transportation. If they don’t, refuse to work in their city.
and my friends laugh at me because I won’t venture any where near NYC.
What the hell - is Bloomberg incapable of passing legislation that declares subway platforms “Pushing-free zones”?
I use to ride the trains on the East Coast. I never understood the allure of standing near the edge of the platform.
Let the filthy GD b*sta*d MODEL for us how to fall under a subway train when pushed.
New convenience rules in effect immediately -
Trains must not exceed 2 mi/h within 1000 feet of any living creature or within 1 mile of a school building.
Also, passengers must be held in a waiting room until the train comes to a complete stop and has maintained that stop for 60 seconds. At that time passengers will be allowed to enter the platform area one at a time. No running allowed. The next passenger will not be released from the waiting room until the previous passenger is seated.
There will be no standing inside of cars. If any passenger stands during the boarding process, the boarding process will be halted until the standing passengers has been arrested and removed from the premises.
These new rules have been instituted by Mayor Bloomberg for your convenience. Thanks for riding with us!
