lol you remember Dennis Quaid, first you get a bunch of avocadoes and tomatoes going one way, and some onions and cilantro going the other way.. No, I must not have seen that movie. If that's the punchline, what was the joke?

We really are having a white Christmas, aren’t we!!
I am technologically challenged so I can’t post a picture. But (if I put my fear of “i” aside) I have to admit it is pretty!

Yep, if them had been Colorado flakes there would hardly be a dusting of snow there! Yall got the bigger and better of even winter! Of course, I was only joking, but the snowflakes coming down earlier here were absolutely huge. I've never been to Colorado, but I know it's famous for its snowy mountains.
When we lived in Los Angeles, we lived right on the edge of the Angeles National Forest. The snow line was just ten minutes from our house, so we used to drive the kids into the park to play in the snow every year. What fun that was.
Never got so much as a single snowflake on our roof, but we could look out our front window and see it on the hills and mountains.

Years ago I told an elderly friend that it would be nice to have a White Christmas, and with a straight face he replied: “Why? It didn’t snow at the first Christmas. I had to admit that he was right. We’ve had about 4-5 inches since Friday, although it wasn’t our first snowfall here in Central NY. Now a storm is predicted to come through here tomorrow night, and drop 6-10 more inches. About a foot is predicted west of us.

Of course, Texas has a great sense of humor. Snow on Christmas in Dallas is a treat. I remember getting snow in Myrtle Beach on year, 13 inches. The pool wasn’t even frozen over. It was a blast. Everywhere my familed moved it seemed to snow in record amounts, even in Turkey. Merry Christmas.

Looks like pretty soon my pics up the thread will be up to date! Well, it probably won't happen this week, but if today's early snowfall is any indicator, we're probably gonna get walloped in Jan/Feb.

I guess snow at Christmas isn't too uncommon up your way, but it's a real treat here in Texas. You be careful when that storm comes through later.
Merry Christmas!

At least, cops won't be shooting dogs in Dallas today!Neither sleet nor snow will stop the DPD from shootin dogs. Christmas is just another day on the ob.

Stickin’ to the roads here north of Longview. If it keeps up I’m gonna have to call Algore to help me scrape this global warming off my driveway.
