In a Christmas message to the nation delivered together with First Lady Michelle Obama, President Barack Obama said that for his family Christmas is a time to celebrate the birth of Christ and learn from His example.
You see, the war in Iraq is over. The transition in Afghanistan is underway. After a decade of war, our heroes are coming home. And all across America, military families are reuniting. For my family and millions of Americans, its a time to celebrate the birth of Christ. To reflect on His life and learn from His example. Every year, we commit to love one another. To give of ourselves. To be our brothers keeper. To be our sisters keeper. But those ideas are not just part of our faith. Theyre part of all faiths. And they unite us as Americans.
What, Obama wants to be nailed to a cross?
As in resist and deny evil? Somehow I don't think that's what he wants...
As usual, BHO has absolutely NO idea that this phrase comes from Cain, who said it in a mocking response to God.
But, typical of BHO as a liar.
And a Very Merry FUØ !
IF the wars are over, why are Americans still dying in foreign lands?
So much for his MISSION ACCOMPLISHED rhetoric.
The edumacated liberal wing of the party is atheist (having "moved beyond" the "superstitions" of their parents) but they permit him to shuck and jive for the masses in flyover country (as Ubama explained to those at the California fundraiser) who "cling to religion" to secure a majority vote support.
Pelosi herself explained the need to "close the God gap" after the Democrats lost in 2004. They cloak the rhetoric of Socialism under the language of religion. The policies are already decided, it's just finding the quotes to back up the policies.
Yeahhhhh ....I knew they were gay....
The MEANING of Christmas is not merely “follow his example”, it is that God gave us all a gift (even the non-believers) and that gift is Jesus Christ, the Son of Man. Our Redeemer and Savior. He died for our sins.
But not for Barry who was raised by an agnostic mother, two muslim fathers, and a Unitarian grandmother.
2004 Interview: Obama Talks about Jesus, Heaven and Sin

(GG is God Girl aka Cathleen Falsani)GG: Whos Jesus to you?
OBAMA: Right. Jesus is a historical figure for me, and hes also a bridge between God and man, in the Christian faith, and one that I think is powerful precisely because he serves as that means of us reaching something higher. And hes also a wonderful teacher. I think its important for all of us, of whatever faith, to have teachers in the flesh and also teachers in history.GG: The conversation stopper, when you say youre a Christian and leave it at that.
OBAMA: Where do you move forward with that? This is something that Im sure Id have serious debates with my fellow Christians about. I think that the difficult thing about any religion, including Christianity, is that at some level there is a call to evangelize and prostelytize. Theres the belief, certainly in some quarters, that people havent embraced Jesus Christ as their personal savior that they're going to hell.GG: You dont believe that?
OBAMA: I find it hard to believe that my God would consign four-fifths of the world to hell. I cant imagine that my God would allow some little Hindu kid in India who never interacts with the Christian faith to somehow burn for all eternity. Thats just not part of my religious makeup.
Part of the reason I think its always difficult for public figures to talk about this is that the nature of politics is that you want to have everybody like you and project the best possible traits onto you. Oftentimes thats by being as vague as possible, or appealing to the lowest commong denominators. The more specific and detailed you are on issues as personal and fundamental as your faith, the more potentially dangerous it is.GG: Do you believe in heaven?
OBAMA: Do I believe in the harps and clouds and wings?
GG: A place spiritually you go to after you die?
OBAMA: What I believe in is that if I live my life as well as I can, that I will be rewarded. I dont presume to have knowledge of what happens after I die. But I feel very strongly that whether the reward is in the here and now or in the hereafter, the aligning myself to my faith and my values is a good thing. When I tuck in my daughters at night and I feel like Ive been a good father to them, and I see in them that I am transferring values that I got from my mother and that theyre kind people and that theyre honest people, and theyre curious people, thats a little piece of heaven.
GG: Do you believe in sin?
OBAMA: Yes.
GG: What is sin?
OBAMA: Being out of alignment with my values.
GG: What happens if you have sin in your life?
OBAMA: I think its the same thing as the question about heaven. In the same way that if Im true to myself and my faith that that is its own reward, when Im not true to it, its its own punishment. In the fall, Obamas critics are going to go after him because they dont believe hes a true Christian. (read: abortion, civil unions, etc) I think the Obama religious outreach team is ready for that debate. They believe that Christianity speaks to more public policy positions than just abortion and gay marriage.
The man has not declared any belief in GOD who created him or Jesus as his personal Savior. He's frontin' and selling lies of an anti-Christ.
i don’t give him credit for being up to the rank of antichrist ~ more like an acolyte of the antichrist ~ that’s the best this punk can do
an anti-Christ figure doesn’t have to be The Son of Satan. He only needs to be a deceiver who acknowledges Jesus and then does all he can to deliberately lead the flock astray.
Mohammed is an anti-Christ figure as well. Islam is the only major religion to acknowledge the existence of Jesus while rewriting the history to deny who He is.
We are told that Islam is “of the same religious traditions” of Judeo-Christian faiths. It’s the death cult of a conquoring warlord who hijacked the Bible for his own purposes.
Barack Obama isn’t a muslim either but he has a hard-on for Islamic theocratic rule.
In another interview he boasted of having a “healthy skepticism of organized religion” which he got from his crackpot liberal mother.
In the interview I’ve included in this thread, he cites the transfer of values from parent to child as his life leasons on religion.
He doesn’t attend church anymore because he doesn’t have to. Chicago was about being an “affiliated” community organizer.
The compromise position is to accept at least one, with these other exceptionally evil folks being, at a minimum, acolytes of the antichrist.
At some depth of understanding of the concept ~ that some people place themselves totally within the authority of Satanic power ~ I think we are all in agreement. Only the names are changed to protect the innocent.
All the dumbing down of 5 decades has taken its toll. The masses have become asses. They are like the followers of Korach who worshipped the Golden Calf.
In any case, have a Merry Christmas!
Pres Bongo will say anything that will resonate with the low information voter.
But the earth swallowed those people up.
