I actually like the idea of Festivus. Maybe hold it the day after Christmas.

Replace that Kwanza thing that duped a bunch of politicians and media types. But then, we’d have to listen/watch a bunch of commercial on shopping for Festivus. Don’t know if I can go through that too.

While I have always liked Festus, never thought he deserved to have holiday named for him.

MERRY CHRISTMAS to those that wish to be so addressed.

It’s FESTIVUS for the RESTOVUS

Feats of strength to be followed by public humiliation for stupid misdeeds of the last year.

Could trot to the Cabinet or Senate/Representatives and fill up your dance card.

Won’t even need the pole, although it does add to the atmosphere.

I'm skipping this made-up holiday; don't have room in my attic for another box of decorations.

Was that a grievance I just aired? Rats!

Replace that Kwanza thing...

What! And no Kwanzaa cake!

Do you realize how much I hate silly vanities about made up holidays? You're wasting my bandwidth. < /aired grievance> :-)

Frank Costanza: "Many Christmases ago, I went to buy a doll for my son. I reached for the last one they had, but so did another man. As I rained blows upon him, I realized there had to be another way."
Cosmo Kramer: "What happened to the doll?"
Frank Costanza: "It was destroyed. But out of that a new holiday was born: a Festivus for the rest of us!"
Kramer: "That must have been some kind of doll."
Frank Costanza: "She was."

Did you ever think you’d see the day when two divorcees were proudly shacked up in a governor’s mansion? Even in NY?

I’ve wrapped quartz crystals up in dead leaves this year. For Festivus dinner, we are having pigeon feathers we collected dipped in acorn sauce.
