If I only had $600 to get set up I'd get an AK. If I only had $150 i'd get an AR lower before the ban, followed by a cheap kit then upgrade a apiece at a time as I could afford.

Well, what I’d say is “ALL other manufacturers but Blackthorn are acceptable at this point.” Blackthorns are so bad as to be physically unsafe for the owners to fire.

Also, FYI, even if you can find a lower they’re all around $325 and up as of yesterday evening.
