My second preference would be for Boehner to stand up and say, "Obama's policies are a disaster. They will destroy the country. But we lost the election. We will not stand in his way. The House Republicans will vote 'present' and we will all see the world that Obama wants us to live in."
But it looks like I'm stuck with my least favorite option: Boehner compromising with Pelosi, giving Obama anything he wants and settign Republicans up to say "If anything goes wrong with this plan, you can blame us."
Apparently, we don't have any principles, either.
Boner can choose to do the right thing, or choose to do the wrong thing. He chose the wrong thing. HIS power and privilege is at stake.
(Screw the American citizen. It's a matter of priority!)
What he's agreeing to is tax increases without a cut in spending.
Good thing the American tax payer has a party they can depend on. (/s)
Conservative Republicans don’t have to support Boner-Pelosi in the House. We did not lose the election for the House and the Left can’t do anything without the House.
My preference would be for Republican Leadership to stop Obama in his tracks. Well, that’s not going to happen. We lost the election, and we don’t have the power.
ya, it’s not like we have control of the house.. you know where all spending and tax bills start.
oh wait...
