Says one shooter, tentatively has IDed him, will not give the name. He was pronounced dead at scene.
Does not mention any 2nd person found in woods wearing camo.

Probably not a good time to be the camo-wearing guy living in the woods near the school.
He does not have info yet on the 2nd crime scene at the Lanza house in Newtown. Only 1 survivor who was injured and survived.

Just read an update that the shooter was carrying his brothers ID. According to the article the brother had nothing to do with what happened.
(Previously I read a second shooter had been arrest)
Now they’re saying Ryan had nothing to do with it, that Adam was the lone shooter and was autistic with a personality disorder. 21 kids, autistic my ass, he was a demon from hell.
the father is dead in NJ, but obviously CT state police are not involved in that. Brother is being questioned by FBI in NJ as are roommates in NJ.
We assume the killer lived in CT with mother, Nancy Lanza the teacher, in Newtown.
The “girlfriend” is part of the NJ investigation. The police still are searching the neighborhood near the school.
The exits off the interstate are closed.

Bloomberg has already issued a statement, as could be predicted.
I looked into CT gun laws. To buy, you have to go through a safety course. Even to open carry you need a permit. Wanna bet this shooter did neither. I don’t know why Bloomberg types believe psychopaths would obey new gun laws, while ignoring the old ones.

Do you live in that area? My husband’s family is mostly in CT. I am so sorry for your loss, having this experience inflicted on you and yours. I work near the Westroads Mall, where a crazy young man shot, killed shoppers 5 years ago. The community grief was so deep for so long. But there were not as many deaths as you are facing, no little children. OMG. I can barely keep any composure today.

And it was his mother’s kindergarten class. The killer went that school, also. They mentioned they think he had a problem with his mother.

the press here is reporting Adam lived in newtown with his mother. The Apt they are checking is Ryan Lanza’s apartment.
Every mass murderer has to be labeled with a mental malady.
There can be no plain evil people.
On his Facebook page, Ryan Lanza posted an update that read, “it wasn’t me… I was at work.”
But the killer living at home I can believe. Doubt the brother could put up w/him.

BLOOMBERG: OBAMA MUST TAKE 'IMMEDIATE ACTION' AGAINST GUNS
Today, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, an ardent gun control advocate, moved to politicize the monstrous school shooting in Connecticut, issuing the following statement:
With all the carnage from gun violence in our country, it’s still almost impossible to believe that a mass shooting in a kindergarten class could happen. It has come to that. Not even kindergarteners learning their A,B,Cs are safe. We heard after Columbine that it was too soon to talk about gun laws. We heard it after Virginia Tech. After Tucson and Aurora and Oak Creek. And now we are hearing it again. For every day we wait, 34 more people are murdered with guns. Today, many of them were five-year olds. President Obama rightly sent his heartfelt condolences to the families in Newtown. But the country needs him to send a bill to Congress to fix this problem. Calling for ‘meaningful action’ is not enough. We need immediate action. We have heard all the rhetoric before. What we have not seen is leadership – not from the White House and not from Congress. That must end today. This is a national tragedy and it demands a national response. My deepest sympathies are with the families of all those affected, and my determination to stop this madness is stronger than ever.
If Bloomberg’s deepest sympathies were with the family, he wouldn’t use this as an opportunity to get on his soapbox about gun control. We don’t know all the facts of the case yet, Connecticut has some of the most restrictive gun control laws in the country, and it seems that the shooter obtained his guns legally.
Sure seems that way.
