FYI: Javier Bardem has been nominated for a best supporting actor award by both the Screen Actors Guild and the Broadcast Film Critics Association for his performance as Silva in SKYFALL.
I am proud to have been nominated in the category;
“Too busy with work and school to have watched any of these”

This morning I looked at Amazon’s list of Best Books of 2012. All familiar titles, I must have read their reviews, seen them displayed at bookstores, suggested by Amazon, but I haven’t read a single one, and I buy and read a lot of books. Same with the above. Pop culture trash.

From the way he portrayed his character in that film, the nominators who liked it might as well call themselves the Film Actor’s Guild
the only show or movie i have watched on that entire list is BIG BANG THEORY which can be childish from time to time but it is quite funny. even the qalready seen reruns are still funny.
i will look at the movie scores as i am a big movie score (not necessarily soundtrack) person. good background for doing computer graphics, building models, playing wargames, and reading.

Want to watch a worthwhile award program, try CMA.
Any reason Hayden ‘s name is bolder than the other names?
“Save the cheerleader , save the world”
Call me ignorant. I have not ever watched about 95% of the TV shows nominated. We have cable TV and get about 200 channels or more. Hard to believe that on many evenings, we cannot find one TV show that we care to watch. Our favorite channel is HGTV, followed by the Food channel. When things really get bad, we watch the Alaska Trooper and Alaska homesteader shows, plus American Picker, Restoration and Las Vegas pawnshop show. Otherwise we read books which seems to be a novelty these days.
I have not seen a single one of those TV shows or movies. Most of them I’ve never heard of.
I quit watching broadcast network TV years ago. If the shows are any good, they’ll be on USA in a year or two.
Love Boardwalk and Homeland. Boardwalk is about Atlantic City during Prohibition times. Homeland with Claire Danes, awesome. About Islamic Terrorism, a Marine who spent 8yrs in prison in Iraq, was tortured and suspected “turned” agent...who comes home and well, love affair, terrorism, plots, CIA, insight how our Government intelligene works, spyware, etc...
Also love House of Lies, waiting for the new season in Jan. I can’t stop laughing watching that show....
