Most LDS women wear their “Sunday Best” to Church, but one group is trying to encourage sisters around the world to wear pants on Sunday, December 16.
The group is called All Enlisted. Their Facebook Page already has more than 600 followers and is gaining national attention.
All Enlisted was started by a local LDS woman.
Members of the group said this new movement is all about equality and not necessarily about wearing pants to church.

As a Catholic I’m somewhat relieved to see ours is not the only Church that has its problems with dissident groups made up of insane women.

I’m Eastern Orthodox and we have ours too. My wife is kind of crazy about this stuff. Despite having several amazing babushkas, she only covers her head in church when she goes to confession or receives communion. How is anyone supposed to know she’s married?
She’s such a feminist, but there’s nothing I can do about it. ;)
To ask why pants are apparently prohibited in ward, is not a rant it is just a question.
Couldn’t they just double or triple up on the magic underwear? Maybe it would have the added benefit of doubling or tripling their holiness. Wear some pairs with holes for bonus points as well.

Can't think of anything in the rulebook. Naive obedience to the men is the one and only. Naive and controlling arrogance of the men is the second factor.

Well, based on my experiences that would make sense.
There is nothing prohibiting women from wearing pants in L.D.S. Meetings. My wife has worn pants.
Further, there is nothing against men wearing short pants in Church either. I told my wife last week that I was going to wear short pants to Church to see what she would say and she shrugged it off with a “so what.”
Oh goody, the libs are going to worm in and slowly hollow out another religious group. Well, they did a good job of skeletonizing the Episcopalians and ELCA Lutherans, seem to be doing a job on the Catholics, already got to most of the Jews (in the US anyway). I can’t wait to see what happens when they try it with the muzziewuzzies. Gotta give the savages credit for one thing—they actually do seem to stand for their values and beliefs, however terrible they may be.
