I grew up in Arlington Hts. in the 1950’s when it was still a small suburban town of around 25,000. Nice to hear that normalcy remains and is supported there. I won’t be surprised if this becomes another battleground for the war against Christmas, but here’s hoping.

I don’t think things are too normal... the tmlc had to file a complaint...
In response, the Thomas More Society filed a complaint with the park district, arguing the Nativity scene is a constitutionally protected private expression of religious belief, among the many other planned Christmas-themed displays in this public celebration of the holiday season.
