Standard magazine for an AR-15 type is 30 these days. Hasn’t been 20 in a very long time.
It was 20 rounds early on in the Vietnam war, but 30 round magazines were introduced fairly soon. It’s usually 30 now, although the Bolshevik states often limit capacity to 10. Here in the People’s Republic of New Jersey, it’s uniquely 15 rounds.
