???
This guy was one of the most annoying dopes on that show. And apparently one of the dumbest.
All of those auction/pawn/trailer trash in the woods doing something crazy shows are fake! They are made from day ONE to be that way. How did he not figure that out? Did he think that actual people would leave valuable artifacts in a storage garage THAT often or that people in real life talk like they are reading lines for the forth time off a script?
“Yuuuuuuup”!
Wait...you mean those guys on Pawn Stars don’t really buy genuine samurai swords made by a 16th century master swordsmith and engraved with the Tokugawa seal for a couple of hundred bucks???

I managed a large mini storage for several years. We had auctions every two months.
People leave VERY valuable stuff in there sometimes. Sometimes they store trash. You never know.

All except Duck Dynasty! I love Duck Dynasty!

Not so sure about that. He knew from the very beginning it was fake. They were getting him to take items from his shop and “salt” the lockers. After a short time, he refused to do that. Then he became worried about his and other cast members vulnerability to legal problems. Meetings were held between cast and producers. When he asked to be indemnified against any lawsuits, and pushed, they let him go. And,,,, I wouldn’t judge his intelligence by the character he played on the show either. Everything was scripted, even the bidding, which wasn’t real. He did make a lot of money.
Yeah, they do. And I have been paid more than a few times to 'clean out gramma's house' too... Stem to stern, PAY ME to haul it away. They just don't want to deal with it. Do you have any idea how many valuable antiques and memorabilia (even down to little smalls) the average 'grandma's house' has within it's walls? You would be astounded at what people will throw away.
