Given the extremely low outside air temperature at typical commercial airline flight levels, I’m sure he had already frozen to death by the time the gear was lowered.

What a way to go.

Yeah, there’s at least four ways you can die there - easily: crushing, freezing, hypoxia, and falling (assuming you survive the first 3, you’d better be strapped onto the gear since you have no idea when they’ll deploy again).

I can’t figure out who thought this might be a good way to smuggle yourself into another country, but people continue to die every year trying it.
