I changed one porch light to a motion activated one...step off the driveway and it pops on! No crime in my area but a suggestion I liked anyway. Built in sensor but looks just like one on the other side that is a dusk-to-dawn model. Suggested as a power saver and I like it.

Yes, motion lights are a good thing. We have lights on our house at night, front and back.

The method for bad guys here is also daytime thefts. These brazen dirtbags sometimes prefer not to confront homes at night, since homeowners are armed. They hope to hit when they believe no one is home.
