...After playing outside in the cold, my Timber (on the left) would come inside and sit upright in front of the fireplace with his head raised as though he was warming his neck. Between his fatigue, the warmth, and I suspect to a lesser degree, the carbon monoxide, you could watch his lids grow heavy and his body sway back and forth until he just collpased in front of the hearth.
My Ranger on the other hand (right side of photo), can not get far enough away from the fireplace the minute you start gathering some wood...
