But, Dr. Carroll, libs will only sign off on these if you promise not to develop any light bulb that puts out more light than an appliance bulb. They only want to make us ungrateful types go back to a pre-industrial standard of living for our own good!

Give me the same temp and wattage of an incandescent or go home...

Uniformly, the quality of light from every CFL and LED I’ve tried has sucked. It’s either too cool and antiseptic, or not bright enough period...
