Bruce Wayne is my favorite superhero because he is clearly a conservative republican: Millionaire, inventor, supporter of nuclear power and large cars who pioneered privatization of law enforcement and consistently displayed disgust with left wing civil liberty theories.

Does it have an 8-track? Otherwise, no deal.

OMG I would give my left nut to own that. I was a Batman fanatic when I was a kid. I remember watching that show on a small black and white TV in the 1960s and being completely hypnotized. My mother even bought me this Batman costume with an actual Batman hood/mask which was too big so I would run around the neighborhood without being able to see where I was going and would constantly run into people or trees. “Da da da (Batman theme) da da da *BONK!*”

Flaming turbo exhaust next to “Gotham City 1966” license plate. Automatic dropping fence disguising Batcave entrance.

Arrival at City Hall with exact same pedestrians nearly run over, every episode.

Miss those times.

Actress Jessica Biel recently married Justin Timberlake. Read somewhere on the web where somebody said if they have a child it should keep it’s mother’s maiden name and give it the first name Batmo.

Ah yes the Batman theme. Back in 66 going through OCS, we had a morning run in the rain with ponchos on. It wasn’t long before one of the guys started up with the BATMAN, nana, nana, nana, nana, because of the flopping ponchos, this went on for a while until it became Baaaaat Maaaaan, naaaana, naaaana, naaaaana, and then just back to the normal cadence. It is one of my most memorable unforgotten incidents of my past.

It was on every week, two nights in a row. Oh, how I LOVED that show! It’s cringe worthy now, but it was sure fun when I was 12!

OK any male near 50 raise your hand if you DIDN’T make a cape with a towel and safety pin and run around saying Da Da Da Da Da Da Da Da Da Da Da Da Da Da Da Da - BATMAN! a million times.

Ah to be a child and have your biggest worry being whether you were Batman or had to settle for Robin . . . .

“Barris still owns the one-of-a-kind car that came with a push-button transmission.”

Just like my 64 Dart GT. Definitely space age technology.

My drag racing cousin used to have one for the strip. He called it "Dial-a-Winner"...

I (very) vaguely recall it was Tuesday/Thursday ... but it was a loooong time ago, so I might be "misremembering."

Some of us were too cool for Batman...we wore a towel around our neck and jumped off tables or staircases after an episode of ‘Adventures of Superman’. Trailer for new Superman movie debuting with ‘The Hobbit’...maybe this one won’t suck.

OMG I would give my left nut to own that.

As I understand it, this maybe the original, but either their were 6 others made for the show or in a limited production run way afterwards based on a 56' Merc if my memory is correct.

Their is someone in Michigan that has one and takes it out to diner and parks it in front of the Resturants in Downtown Plymouth.

It was a hoot to see it.

Maybe you could get one of these clones...
