One of the big changes this season is how Carl has grown from the child in previous seasons to being one of the more mature members of the group.
It is a sad commentary that a child has to grow up that fast, but in that world, one has to in order to survive.
I was thinking that myself and would even be OK following him if need be.
Carl does what needs to be done without hesitation.
At least Carl won’t end up a pampered, spoiled megabrat who thinks the world revolves around him, and who will live in his parents’ basement until he’s 40.
