Oh, absolutely!! I am sorry for not doing so when I first posted. I was focused on the containers. I'm pretty sure that many families have a similar recipe, especially those that came through the depression.

You just have to shake it up periodically on the shelves, and it's good to go.

Cream Soup Base - makes 4 to 6 cups as currently written

Base:
1 cup non fat dried milk powder
1 Tbls dried onion flakes
2 Tbls corn starch
2 Tbls chicken bouillon granules
1/2 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1/4 tsp black pepper

Mix all ingredients and store in an airtight container.

Main ingredients:
For a soup base, add 2 cups cold water and heat over medium heat. Stir constantly until soup thickens.

Anything you want making up to 4-6 cups including the base.
