I just checked with my broker, and I can get Jamaican Blue Mountain for about $25/lb and roast it myself.
Puna Moon Hawaiian Rainforest (Kona Arabica Antipica trees) is running about $17.
Either one of those is worth more than anything Starbucks sells.
I'll stick with my Tres Rios La Magnolia for about $5/lb.

Getting some precip down here in Socal by the beach.
Folks up north are getting the serious stuff.
Pour a cup of joe and joing the conversation of the latest extravaganza by Starbucks.
I think that machine is neat....

We have some excellent coffee at the local Cooperative for a lot less than that. Several different kinds. I wouldn’t touch Starbucks even on a supersale.

Only sold at stores with a Clover machine. The Clover, itself, is extremely expensive ... in the 10s of thousands. I know of around a half dozen Clovers here in LA.
And not one in any Starbucks.

$4.99. No waiting in line for grotesquely over priced "burned" coffee, served by pierced and tattooed barristas, and elderly pony tailed hipsters.

Paid $0.69 for a 24 oz Pumpkin Cappuccino at the QuikTrip. It was delicious, and lot better than Starbucks or Dunkin’ Donuts.

Guess at Starbucks they only have them at some stores in the Northwest.
But they own the company now.
