Same here - they would know no peace. For starters I’d be wearing a t-shirt that had “These cops shot and killed my dog” with their pic’s and of my dog on it.

in Ohio you need a permit to shoot rats in your own cellar. LOL...series?
Dang, it's even worse than I thought.
It does conjure up memories of those Crossman pump pellet rifles though!!

Different stories, different scenarios. No correlation.

Shoot a police dog = be treated as though you shot a police officer.
Shoot a private citizen’s dog = “It was just a dog....”

The cops drove the dog from it's home.
I've put barking dogs back in their yard after they jumped on the gate, opened it and came out to "visit" with my dog.
How hard would it be to get the dog back in the yard and raise the fence? What is the point of getting a dog license if the gov't doesn't use the paid for data to protect and serve?
Cops are always acting stupidly when it comes to pet dogs.

"different scenarios"
The dog wasn't even barking at the LEOs when shot. Even more reason to make them accountable.

The best thing about these threads is that it shows that people's eyes are slowly being awakened to the fact that LEOs are not their friends. The worst thing about them is there are so many of them.

Justice for ice. Check it out on Facebook. Another dog shot down for no good reason. It’ll break your heart

I don’t know folks, the officers spent an hour trying to corral the animal. It is true that animal control doesn’t work on sundays in many places. Taser’s can work on animals but I don’t think it is always effective. This is one of the reasons why I put a catch pole in each of my patrol cars. I learned once from a Sgt when I was a road officer a little trick; I had 2 large dogs that were about a block from home. The male was agressive when I approached. My sgt suggested that I open the back door of my car and step back. Both dogs jumped into the back seat. Domesticated obviously. I have used that since but the catch poles would have worked.

Right. I've read stories where they chased a dog through a person's house (the mayor in this instance) and the dog hid under the bed. It was a Lab. They shot it there. They shot the other Lab he had as they busted into his house. It was a setup. Some druggie mad at the mayor said he had dope. Didn't bother to check sources, etc.
Another one was this Chicago cop shot the family pet in the yard behind a fence. Cop said she was 'feard for her life' - it was a cocker spaniel.

In the past if I saw a cop in trouble my first thought would be how can I help. Now if I saw a cop in trouble I would think maybe they deserve the ass whooping they are getting.
