We used to go for lunch in East Los Angeles, to eat at “El Tepeyac.” First timers would be told they got their lunch free, if they ate the “Manuel’s Special” burrito.

A few tried, but none succeeded.

I believe the percent of the population which is Hispanic is higher in San Antonio TX and in Santa Ana CA, than in Lost Angeles.

I feel far safer behind the Orange Curtain in the OC.

Great place. Took the house burrito left overs home and had them for two more meals. It’s been awhile. On Evergreen if I recall. Also know as Manuals. Great stuff.

I live just behind the Orange Curtain--in East LH.
