A 55 page photo spread in the official Chinese communist newspaper. I wonder if the Chinese communist leaders like him?

While it is humorous to us, it is the absolute gospel truth to the people in China who read the newspaper. In a closed society, the truth appears to be what ever the propaganda specialists say it is.

A friend of mine grew up in Communist East Germany and attended the University of Karl Marx. She believed the government propaganda that her country was a world power. Her greatest hardship in the wall coming down was the ego injury of finding out that they were lied to and they were not the country (ego identity) that they had believed.

Just because a story seems plausible doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be checked.

With his devastatingly handsome, round face, his boyish charm, and his strong, sturdy frame, this Pyongyang-bred heartthrob is every woman's dream come true," the English online edition of the People's Daily quoted.....

I lived in China for a while, and became very attuned to newspaper propoganda and how they create a "narrative." That skill has served me very well in reading US news over the last few years.
