What browser? What OS are you running?

I am running the latest Chrome in WinXP and also in Linux, and I don't have a toolbar, or a "Compatability View" setting.

The problem is FREE REPUBLIC. It is fundamentally broken.

It’s probably the DHS intercepting traffic.

I agree. Recently when someone pings to a thread there are 2-3 pings come up from the same pinger for the same article.

I will bet you this will all clear up after the Freepathon.
