Borrow a cat trap(large havahart) from the animal control officer and bait the feral cat into it

I just set the trap out a little while ago. FWIW, it's not a feral cat, when I went to the door wall with a flashlight and hit the window to try and scare it away, it just sat there looking at me......LOL! No, it was a healthy and nice looking cat that definitely belongs to someone.

There is another option. You can put mothballs on your deck where the cat likes to hang out. Supposedly, cats are put off by the smell. I have never tried this, but I read about it somewhere.
