No, they’re not. Burgundian reds come from Pinot Noir.

Cabernet Sauvignon is a Bordeaux varietal not a Burgundy varietal.

Hint: If the wine bottle has a gently sloping neck it is a burgundy or burgundy blend. If it has a squared off neck it is a bordeaux or bordeaux blend.

No they aren’t. The red Burgundies use the Pinot Noir grape.
