I think any form of extremes are bad -- food wise too. For instance, it's good to eat vegetables -- lots of them, and also raw veggies, but it's also good to eat some meat.

even red meat in moderation is good.

We shouldn't be sitting down to a fatty meat every day, but once in a while, ok

I’m not saying we should eat half a cow daily, but the simple fact is, humans function best when meat is in the diet.

For as long as mankind has lived outside of the tropics, he has eaten something other than vegetables for a good portion of the year.

Bears eat what they can when they can. They’ll pound down the salmon for a month, and then pound down berries for a month. They might eat some honey or a rotten moose.

Vegans are the oddest people with the most unnatural ideas.

That is what is so good about meat, you don’t need that much and it replaces so many bananas or apples when it comes to protiens and amino acids.

You’d have to eat 23 bananas to get the protien from 3 oz of lean ground beef. Bananas are good but for totally different reasons.

It is called balance and eating to get the nutrients your body needs.
