How did marshmellows get on my sweet potatoes?
My wife put them there.
Mine does the same thing - “everybody likes them like that” she says.
Not me.
I like ‘em with just butter. Lots of butter.

More to the point, why??
A much better alternative, that bestows a bit of sweetening and moistening, is the addition of a wee bit of maple syrup. And some chopped nuts, English walnuts or pecans, chopped not too finely, add a bit of “texture.”
